Arguably the luckiest man on pitch.
If it was a pen, if it was a foul, why wasn't he sent off?
Made fantastic save a few mins later, so if he wasn't on pitch we may have won?
I thought ref had decent game. He missed obvious corner to them in first half, but repaid the favour in second half, but after a long (in my opinion, gamesmanship) why didn't the red come out?

If Ellis is just about to round him, and a foul is committed (I need to see it again to be sure) then its nothing short of criminal not sending him off!

[br Yeah not 100% convinced it was a pen but happy to accept the decision. Thought the blatant handball by their defender a few minutes later was an easier call for the ref.

At a guess, I expect he agreed that the keeper had took out Ellis but didn't think Ellis was going to get onto the end of the ball he knocked past the keeper and therefore the keeper hadn't stopped a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Definite penalty but not IMO a sending off as the keeper made a genuine attempt to win the ball .Some refs would have given a red but overall i thought the referee was pretty good.

Two young children never had the chance to experience life thanks to Luke McCormick.
I would genuinely give everything I own to give the child murdering **** the justice he deserves!

I can't see refs have a choice, surely if they stop a goal scoring opportunity then it's a red card, whether it was deliberate or not? Although the covering defender probably helped the ref.

He went to prison and served his sentence, that is justice. Personally I am grateful that we have a criminal justice system that operates like this, rather than some of the more barbaric options that continue in some parts of the world.

Sickens me how supporters continue to use this horrific incident to taunt and get one over an opponent.

IMO the justice system is not tough enough in the UK, that's why a number of people are sickened by the short sentenced handed down to people who cause a death, and after a relatively short period of time in prison are able to resume their lives in the spot light of the public, while the victims families are left to try and pick up the pieces from the meaningless loss of life. I have to say my own family suffered from the result of a car incident many years ago, when two of my cousins, who were just kids at the time, were left with no mother to bring them up. Not a great thing, just putting the other side for the victims.

Barely 4 years served for the lives of two innocent children.
Had to stop reading at 'Served his sentence' & 'That is justice'.
This place really is a hoot sometimes.

Not condoning anyone shouting abuse at him, but how the hell the sentence he got is fitting of the crime he committed is anyone's guess.

Anyway, I'm bailing out of this one now, as it will probably get closed soon anyway!

Hahahahaha that is bollocks, he's back playing football and driving about on the road after a few years in a cushy prison whilst the family he tore apart are still having to cope with losing their children. If you think that's justice you're disgusting!

Let's just agree he was lucky on many counts?
