Fair comment. I believe that NH is not stupid enough to chase a dead duck, that's not how he made his money.l also believe he is driven by 2 things.
1 His love of BRFC. 2 His legal team, after all he wouldn't be chasing this if they thought it was a dead duck.
On the subject of the Wonga loan. When you buy a house before you sell your existing house you can take out a bridging loan which you either pay off from your new mortgage or you convert it to a regular secured loan at a more reasonable interest rate. I believe this is what he is doing. Painful in the beginning but redeemable long term. I hope so anyway.

Just when I was looking forward to a good weekend, someone decided to ruin it with this 'dead duck'! I'd forgotten all about it and hoped it would go away!!!

Problem with that view I'd that your always going to sell your house to the prospective purchaser and so then pay off the bridging loan, there's no guarantee Sainsbury's will pay up/NH can afford to pay off our Wonga loan. I'd forget his legal team as they'll be doing what they are told to do, they aren't going to turn down work even they feel it's a dead duck.

In which case, stop paying lawyers to chase a dead contract and petulantly adhering to what surely everyone believes is the road to nowhere. It would seem to make sense. That's a very broad statement. The contract is not dead (dying maybe) and not everyone believes it's going nowhere. Does anyone really, deep down, be honest, believe we will get £30 million from Sainsbury's and that will fund a new stadium at UWE, as per the plan?

That's a good point, I don't think we will get the full amount, I am not that much of an optimist, should we win then the ball will be in Sainsbury court. They won't be able to treat us with the contempt they have shown us so far.
