I expect, yawn yawn, you get asked this a lot but where are the best places to park. I would be grateful for your advice and thank you in advance for any info provided.

There are very few restrictions on any of the streets around the ground. The earlier you arrive, the better the chance of a spot closer to the ground.

Filton avenue is good, and many of the smaller roads off it. You will have no problem finding the ground, the crowds will sweep you along.
muller road is good , it's named after what happens to visiting clubs.

Many thanks for all your replies. I think I will take the approach of arriving early and trying somewhere off of Filton Ave. Will also take up the offer sometime of parking in Yate as I also watch Mangotsfield United so will come in handy when the Mangos are at Lodge Road! Once again, many thanks and hopefully your goodwill will be rewarded with 3 pts tomorrow.

Depends which direction you're coming from. Get there early enough and there will be street parking off Muller Road and Ashley Down Road (near Glos CCC). Then a 10 / 15 minute walk, and maybe time for a pint and soak up the atmosphere.

Thanks The Concept. I was originally thinking of parking there as I used to be a member of Glos CCC, but I am coming in from Almondsbury so thought I would ask on here first. If the Filton Ave idea doesn't pan out I will head for my old haunt.

You can park in the Civil Service car park off Filton Avenue but if you get there early enough there's loads of on street parking near the ground

If the Filton Ave idea doesn't pan out I will head for my old haunt. If you're coming through Frenchay, then Stapleton (or down the M32) then that would be easy. If you're coming down the A38, people have mentioned Filton Ave, but there is also lots of street parking the other side of Gloucester Road. Just past the common and you've got roads around West Broadway and Wellington Hill West, not too far to walk, in the Henleaze / Golden Hill area.

Yes, I will be coming in via the A38, so will take a look at some of these suggested places. Thanks again to all of you your time and help is much appreciated.

Coming from that direction, I'd suggest Kellaway Avenue if you arrive early enough or any of the side streets off the Gloucester Road before Muller Road.

Thanks Curly Wurly, I will look there first. Actually, there are so many great suggestions I just wish I could park about 7 cars. Just hope Barney don't park the bus today!
