According to my records tonight is the highest position since beating Northampton 2-1 in August 2011. If we beat Barnet on saturday it will be our highest position in division two since relegation from one in May 2011.
If my information is correct . Then we need to thank DC for bringing the heart back to our proud football club...

League positions in August don't count.

Great post!
....and i like how we are doing it in a good way....great team spirit, no billy big bollox, more engagement with fans from on pitch staff and no huge wage earners.
I'm glad DC has been given a chance.
It's no where near I think we should be, but at this moment in time, we are heading right direction playing the right kind of football.
Long may it continue..

We were right down near the bottom of the conference this time last year. The Latvian is right, league tables mean nothing in August.

I haven't seen us play in a competitive game yet this season, but I am really pleased with how we have started. From everything I have heard and read, it seems we have played awfully once, and very well three times. As usual some people over reacted after the Northampton game, and many will do the same now that we have won three on the bounce. Let's just be happy that some progress seems to be being made, but also remember that we are now 8th in the 4th division, and it's August.

After at least two years of being below Yeovil, Cheltenham and Newport it's good to be above them for a change.

Whilst I hate to say it as they a usually a team to hate because of their fans but come on Leeds and make it a perfect week by winning tonight.

I personally will not be happy until we are back in league one where Trolls had us and when we are playing a local league derby with our noisey neighbours at a spanking new stadium at BS3. Progress needs to be made and quick
