Journalism really is going down the pan nowadays, the Memorial Stadium should come with a public-danger warning apparently, what a load of old tosh.

Old news, completely out of context and can't even get the dates correct. Total rubbish, writing an article for the sake of muck raking. I've commented but I really shouldn't, not worthy of time taken!! UTG!

"20 officers were tasked with taming angry fans" - they did a pretty good job of beating the bejeezus out of anyone who got within 5 feet of them, from what i recall.

Blimey, were they reaching onto the terraces and attacking people? Or maybe just trying to deal with brain dead idiots who thought that because they were angry it was OK to go onto the pitch? What I would say though, is that had the Police or stewards gone into the front corner of the away terrace and asked that small group of lads some simple questions about the team they support, they would have soon realised that they weren't Mansfield followers, they could have been removed and things may have been a bit calmer in that area after the game.
