Why? If she's watched Rovers regularly over the years hasn't she noticed the way fans treat the opposite sex in similar circumstances? I'm not condoning what fans did but it was hardly unexpected, regardless isn't it how the club and players responded to her helping out rather than a few mindless fans? i was responding to Harry's first line. Unless I read it wrong, she's not happy with the way she's been treated by the club. That's the shame.

I would be grateful if this thread could now be allowed to quietly disappear.
But in response to the comments about didn't I know what football fans were like I will say, no I didn't. I didn't realise that some of the people I have stood on the terraces with for 30 years would take to the internet to call me fat, ugly and incompetent, across at least two different forums. I didn't realise that I would receive abusive messages through Facebook for helping the club out. I was in a fortunate position to have the qualifications and circumstances to help solve a problem, and that's what I did. And if I had the chance, I'd do it again.
We have a fantastic manager and a wonderful group of lads in the squad who made me very welcome. It has been a privilege to work with them, and they were respectful and professional at all times. There was a real sense of team spirit which gave me great hope for the future. I will miss them all.
And to those of you who stuck up for me - some of which I know, and other that I don't, I will be forever grateful.

UTG Jo Well having met Jo at the FGR away game she couldn't be described as any of those, quite the opposite. Quite what some fans think they are doing by involving themselves in describing someone in that way after a fellow fan has helped the club out is beyond my understanding. Thank you Jo for what you did and for saying you would it it again, good on you, don't let the mindless idiots we have who thankfully are in the minority put you off doing what you love doing. Oh well, as no-one else is helping this thread to drop I might as well add my comments too. There are some real idiots among our supporters, that much is obvious from what she has posted above. Jo should ignore them entirely as they aren't worth the air they breathe.
I'm still hoping that at some point the club will acknowledge the huge assistance Jo has given them. A few words similar to the message East Fife sent to their idiots wouldn't go amiss either. Some time soon would be good.
