I've never really understood the speculation about Noel Edmunds and BRFC. Is it because he's based in the area, or is allegedly a good friend of a former chairman?
But in any event I doubt if he would be interested in taking us on, not only are we too far gone as a going concern, but he also seems much too ''with it'' to speculate his millions on such a needy outfit as ours.

It's because the two young kids of his girlfriend/wife are Rovers fans. Simples.

Fully agree, is he even that wealthy enough to pour £30m into a black hole which is BRFC?

It's because the two young kids of his girlfriend/wife are Rovers fans. Simples. That sounds like as good a reason as any to ''invest'' £30,000,000 (plus) of your hard-earned money.

Didn't Noel Edmunds kill a man? I don't think he was personally culpable. Amazing to think it ever happened though.

Didn't Noel Edmunds kill a man? No. But on ''The Late, Late Breakfast Show'' in 1986, which Noel and Mike Smith were co-presenting, there was an accident with one of the stunts. The BBC was later prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive for breaching safety rules.
