Brentford, the club we used to beat on a regular basis has just spent £2.5 million on 2 players. funny the year I move from Brentford to here, they go up, and we went down.

2.5 million in London equates to a studio flat, doesn't it?
I take the o p point, and they almost made it to Premier last year, but times and traditions change.
For example, I regard Wigan as a poxy, small club. But anyone whom isn't adult would think they are serious Premiership contenders. Now gravity is taking over, they are where I always remember them to be.

Doesn't take much thinking to imagine the vitriol & abuse that would be flying around on here if the BoD declined to offer the must successful manager in the clubs history a new contract.

You always sense Brentford could be the next Pompey. Although like Bournemouth having a small, Mem like, ground doesn't seem to stopping their progress. Perhaps like Aldi/Lidl small grounds will be seen as the new big!!

I really think that Brentford would make speedier progress than we did if they ever did get to that stage, London being a tad more progressive than Bristol.

It would make for a very good day-out for me when it's built, as it's in one of my favourite parts of London; Richmond, Twickenham and Kew.I wonder what the neighbours thought though? I wouldn't be surprised if Ms Radice hadn't stuck her nose in there, somewhere or other.
