The poll has spoken, I'm in the minority, so will leave it alone for now (and go back to banging on about safe standing) ;0) I think you should wait for a few days and let as many as possible respond before you get so resigned .

Perhaps the vast majority don't wish to get rid of the Monarchy Certainly not the Rovers monarchy. If King Higgs can take the club into non league after his previous relegation to the basement league and run up staggering losses and debt then he has affectively been awarded the freedom of BS7. Keep up the good work King Nicholas I. you really do have to wonder about the mentality of rovers fans sometimes, especially in a two club city where the other lot are pressing on and leaving us behind both on and off the field. Luckily in rural chippenham i don't come into contact with many teds but you'd think that constant ridicule in bristol from the inbreds would maybe just maybe start people thinking that the current board aren't the best people to take us forward. I expect mr higgs to receive a heroes welcome when he makes his way to box 1 on august 8th!

Woefully inaccurate article. GasPanic which bits please ? Are you expecting an answer to that? The people who know all is well and the club is perfectly run can only tell anyone doubting it that they are wrong for reasons they pretend to know but aren't at liberty to divulge. The rules of being Gassier Than Thou also require them not to look at league tables or fixture lists, cast an eye around the ground and question how fit for purpose it is, or take the accounts at face value rather than as a formality to humour accountants. Those things are all misleading and food for the doubters. We just have to trust them: all is perfect, and if other people's reality suggests there might be room for improvement, they think you'll find that's already covered, actually, but they wouldn't want to sully their enlightened status by elaborating for the unclean. I hold fast that it's them that's nuts, not me, but who knows?

You have got lots of other threads to express your negative sentiments.

A thread titled 'making higgxit happen' with then a load of disqualifying statements about how there's no one willing to buy. Having cake and eat it.
There is a difference between thinking the club is perfectly run and being skeptical whilst acknowledging there are few geniune other options to move forward.
If it's genuinely a post bemoaning the fact we have currently no other backers than Higgs, perhaps the title and associated poll are misleading.
