Been reported on facebook (by a parent). Not a major thing as clubs do close them and it sounds like the academy will look at some of the lads with a view to moving them to the academy.

Is this the one at Hallen where there has been all the fuss about the lease and costs between Hallen FC and the local community council ?

To be honest mate do not know, read a few of the posts and some are not happy but others reporting that extra money has been put into the academy. I understand the academy but still not convinced about development centres. A friends son was in one and he went every week cost a fortune when all added up and at the last point told not good enough, at least you know if they are accepted into the academy they have a chance.

It is nothing to do with Hallen FC. In the same thread on facebook another parent mentions the centre is just moving to the City Academy Russell Town Ave, St George. This is where BCFC82 were until 3 years ago. Did you know that Southampton FC have a development centre at Keynsham Town FC.
