That's what I've heard. Good move for club and player.

Strange that we beat them back to the FL but they have secured two of DC wanted players.

I can see the local headlines now - "We've signed your monkey Clarke - Print that b'stard!"

Monkey's perfect move would be Hartlepool home of the hanging Monkey

He's a better finisher than Taylor and twice the player that Blissit will ever be. I doubt that Watola has got over the shock of us not hitting his break-even target of 9000 per home match, so hasn't managed to calculate a playing budget yet.

Has never scored 20 goals in the Conference? How do you know he is not another Jamie White. Anyway until the Sainsburys case is settled we are not in a position to get into a bidding war.

Guys Guys Guys!!! Look at this logically, what's the distance in miles between cleethorpes and Leeds? It's perfect for a great one season servant of this football club who helped us return to the FL at the first time of asking isn't it? I think he deserves to be closer to his family after his efforts, and a lot of these player moves are done for convenience of the player and more importantly his family than anything else, I'm sure if bristol was a few miles from Leeds he'd have gladly signed a new contract. Don't believe the stuff players say when they sign "the manager sold the ambition of the club, I know I'm dropping down a league but this clubs going places" etc etc

Yep, 29 Con North last season. And unlike Taylor, he doesn't need half a dozen clear chances to score one goal. Alveston. We didn't seem too worried about the Sainsbury's situation when signing Easter and Lines, since then we are probably half a million quid better off.

Yep, 29 Con North last season. Precisely another Jamie White? Jamie White scored goals at National Level. Should no one ever take a punt on players in lower leagues? Could have been another Hayles, Ellington, Robers (who had only really scored goals for Hayes) etc

So Taylor needs half a dozen chances to score a goal. Give it a rest, our best striker by miles assists in getting us promotion & still he attract critics! Bogle is not as good as Matt Taylor.....believe me! As for the Sainsburys situation - surely you appreciate that until it's resolved we don't know which of Plan A, B or C we will be following (assuming there are Plans B & C). I have it on very good authority that it is very much depending on that result as to what DC can do. Hence I guess why he has tied up the likes of Gosling, Leadbitter, Sinclair and James Clarke on deals that will not be too expensive but the bigger priced deals are still on hold!

Anyway we didn't get him, probably didn't want him. Plenty more fish in the sea.

Yes, Taylor needs multiple chances to even hit the target. I gave up even getting excited when he was put through one-on-one as more often than not he would smash the ball high and wide. Bogle is a different player to Taylor, with proper fitness he would be a right handful in L2. We have just limped out of a division full of very poor teams, it's not as if we blew the division away. It sounds like the excitment of a Wembley win on penalties has erased the memory of 16 draws, a lot of them against woeful opposition. Are you saying that Clarke has not even been told what his budget is for next season?

Yep, 29 Con North last season. Precisely another Jamie White? Did Jamie White impress both DC and Marcus Stewart?

Seem to remember he scored from his one chance at FGR in the play offs, and if we were to take his 20 goals away we wouldn't even been in the playoff, and that is a fact
