The eternal response on this forum Right lets go back to my original post "Looked at it tonight for the first time in ages. Was shocked it seems the supporters club is in the fight v Sainsburys" Tell me where in that comment it says that I am putting down the SC. I was shocked as there was more news about the legal fight than I had heard. Yes I do not agree with the silly graphics used. The SC website is a thousand times better than it used to be, so credit there. As for the eternal response, is it? I have had conversations with a few people at the SC. What qualities / experience do I have? well my family ran a successful business (builders / DIY merchants). 22 years logistic (warehouse and supply, won't bore you with qualifications). Have ran two businesses myself, and currently run one (as well as working full time). Have ran 4 music / beer festivals, might not seem relevant, but I hold brewery awards for cellar work and distribution. Add to all that, in my spare time I love web design etc. I am not biting, just putting it out there. The merchandising committee was a good idea pity it was not followed through. We all know the club has been haemorrhaging money, why oh why not use the skills are the fans, who love the club? Don't expect him to answer the question, he's just trolling.

The eternal response on this forum Unfortunayley though, like it or not it is true for a number of oeiole. Just look at the retail comittee recently? As.for the SC website it is greatly improved amd.easier to use than the OS, and doesnt need the childish bits on it And who's left, insisting all is fabulous or our role is just to support, so no input required from you? The bloke who runs 199 and Jim Chapple. The roll of honour of people who stepped forward to do more than 'just support' and subsequently got told to 'back' off is huge. The unthought of drop to div 4 was a huge fillip to many to get involved, but div 4 is now described as the Holy Grail. Our mistake, apparently. Even the eternal yes man who got elected as SC rep to the board, and who put in a load of effort despite missing the point, was spat out.

Exactly, the new 'Holy Grail' is a division to which relegation was viewed as a disaster and was officially classified 'not an option'.
I think that Clarke actually 'gets' this and views the job as a work in progress.
Don't understand the bit about the SC rep being 'spat out'?

Don't expect him to answer the question, he's just trolling. Don't comment on the forum unless dagnogo agrees. Arsehole No need to be abusive. Talk about "cage well and truly rattled". You mentioned that no-one who criticises offers to help, which you do as part of your oh-so hilarious "controversial" thing where you disagree with any criticism anyone has of the club. You were proven wrong, and you didn't answer his question. Say what you want, I'm not going to stop you.

CGH i dont think you have responded to the point made by a few of us, that people have offered and been turned away or ignored, other than to try an belitte the fact.
Most of us have praised the SC website as well other than offering an opinion on some IMO.childish posting.
I get the feeling it was you what did it by your actions here
You arent trying to debate the argument just rubbish other people

Just ignore CGH. He is clearly just trolling and has anger issues due to having the intellect of a 6 year old.

David Brain? That's who I had in mind. He might have missed the point, but he put the hours in when doing so, and toed whatever line he was given.... until he was declared 'not wanted on journey'. More to the point though, the list of energetic and talented people who used to do stuff but no longer do is extensive beyond coincidence.

Ah the story of BSS which rather proves the point I've been making. The board wanted him on board but didn't want to make him a director but they knew if they put him forward as the Supporters Director so few people actually bother to vote (despite people investing £1m) that he would get elected over David Brain. The point being that everyone is happy to moan about things but won't actally do anything to change or make things better.

There are elections coming up for all those wanting to do more for BRSC:

Will somebody oppose Ken?

Unless Rod stands again I'm not expecting anyone else to stand. A great opportunity for some on here though.

Unless Rod stands again I'm not expecting anyone else to stand. A great opportunity for some on here though. I thought it would be hilarious for Kevin to join the SC, work on one of the committees for 12 months and then stand as SC rep. He would win by a country mile. What would Higgs do then? Edit. Rod should stand. The trick he missed was not attending regional SC meetings. He should also resist the postal ballot, that's wildly swayed in favour of sitting candidates.
