So good to be back.Everything in life is relative.Stoke supporters here moan about everything but the local council built the Brittania, they play teams like Arsenal not Alfreton and their chairman buys them players from Barcelona. Not that long ago when we won two years on the trot here, one a 4-1 victory thanks to a Jamie Cureton Hat-trick.Stoke fans don't always appreciate how lucky they are .Don't think we'll ever take our league status for granted again. At least hope the board never do.

Who would you like the first 4 games to be against? I would love: Northampton (h) Pompey (a) Oxford (h) Morecambe (a) on Aug bank holiday. If not, last away match of season.

Oooooo when do the new league tables get released? August 8th? They should be up as soon as the fixtures are released on 17th June. I'll be looking at the tables on BBC red button on or around that date as I'm sad like that too even though everybody would have played 0 until August 8th!

In the good old days Ceefax wouldn't even put the tables up until at least a month into the season.

I see on the OS it shows next years conference table. Are we about to discover something terrible? Or are they just being their usual dozy selves?

I think you'll find we are not formally adopted into the league until after the Football League AGM next week in Portugal.

It's held in Portugal every year. Perhaps the League have a timeshare they need to utilise.
I believe GD always used to go on our behalf. I hear that Ken Masters is representing us this year.
As and when we get the share transferred to us, it would be nice to swap it with the one Cambridge hold. After all, we held that one for years.

It was held in Chester for several years until 10 years ago. Do League 2 and 1 clubs hold a share these days as they used to be associate members where as Championship clubs were full members.

I'm not sure that its a physical object - just a name on a register
