Surely an enquiry is required?

The smoking gun would be to find a significant donation from a certain Channel Islands resident or a major Holborn based supermarket.
Even if they do post their accounts this detail would be unlikely.
However, as they are looking to be struck off, it would be very interesting if TRASHORFIELD came clean about the sources of their funding.
Don't hold your breath though.

Probably because the miserable gits were not in existence long enough. Not sure of the timings but there is quite a lag allowed between the end of the trading year and when accounts have to be submitted. So it is perfectly feasible that they were incorporated and shut down within one FY and the accounts, such as they are, are not due for some time. But it is interesting to note the "overdue" bit on your post.

The proposal to strike off is probably due to the fact that they have not filed their accounts which every private limited company is obliged to do in case they are due to pay Corporation Tax. Any striking off will impact on the directors so it is in their interest to file accounts.

So these are just political activists or are they connected parties to any of the you know who's? Are they public about it or just in the shadows? Anyone know, I'm backwards on the whole thing. They have some brass balls, with thousands of people never wishing to do business with them etc.

More to the point shouldn't somebody submit a Freedom of Information question to BCC asking if Trash ever paid thier costs?

Why is there a "Proposal to Strike off" with no accounts submitted? They can propose their company is struck off themselves provided they haven't traded in the last three months. A process to be struck off also takes place if you don't file an annual return.

Depends whether they applied or whether the striking off is part of a process that HMRC automatically started when they didn't file an AR. Doubt you'd get a late filing payment in either case but not sure

Doubt you'd get a late filing payment in either case but not sure If you're striking off, you wouldn't normally file accounts at Companies House if they are late as the fine only gets levied at the point the accounts get received by CH. No fines attached to late Annual Returns but CH will move to strike off if either become significantly overdue. HMRC on the other hand will want some form of assurance in the form of accounts, albeit not necessarily statutory ones and could request a previously struck-off company to be reinstated to the register if they believe thee are wrongdoings or unpaid taxes. HMRC's dealings with the taxpayer are carried out outside of the public domain. PP
