Just a few minutes ago I was out the front of my house (washing my daughter's car!) when I heard the bells of nearby Holy Nativity Church ring out. It's on the Wells Road heading out of town just up from what used to be the Y.M.C.A and the Bush hotel.
I thought I recognised the tune, but couldn't place it in any Hymnal that I knew of.
Then it clicked....................it was 'Goodnight Irene'...in the heart of BS4 land!
Brave lad/lass!

I have chimed 'Goodnight Irene' on the bells at the Lord Mayor's Chapel on College Green amongst other places!

Rex,that's either a serious question or very funny. Knowing you, it'll be the former!
