This should get you all in the mood, what a day Thank you so much for posting CB I am really up for this now and I will force myself to go However bad I am. We all talk about the Igoe goal but both of Richard Walkers goals are superb but the second is sublime. I hope that DC plays this to the team tomorrow. If it has half the effect it has had on me the it will be a good thing. I was gutted to have missed that game as it would have been the first win, at Wembley, for me. Got rushed into hospital on the morning of the game. Come on Rovers. Come on you BLUES !! No surrender and no quarter given. Up the kin GAS !

This should get you all in the mood, what a day Fantastic commentary too, was it Gary Birtles who said Walkers two goals would have graced a European final. What a day, what a thrilling climax to a match (at least for us anyway).

THE GOAL IS EMPTY....IF HE SLIDES IT......SAMMY IGOE.....IS HE GOING TO SETTLE IT? HE HAS DONE: BRISTOL ROVERS ARE GOING TO BE PROMOTED TO LEAGUE ONE.

And a great kit, too, apart from it being a little too pale blue. But white shorts and hoopy socks every time for me.
