i really, really don't think it's going to come to that. Really. Honestly. Really. We have to get all the way around. to block circa block 527 before it is even an issue. And even then it's not necessarily an issue as 1) Grimsby aren't even on Tier 2 yet. let alone the top tier, and 2) No top tier has been sold to Grimsby fans in order for any potential 'encroachment' to be a problem. At £39 a ticket, plus postage, for those relatively poor seats, there is not a bottomless pit of people who will want them. Only blocks 547 & 548 available at the moment

Surely some more blocks will be released soon?

Oxon's number is just sales for day 1 of general sale. Not all 3 days.

Oxon's number is just sales for day 1 of general sale. Not all 3 days. That figure is from the club as total tickets sold to rovers fans (total sales after day one of general sales).

With Grimsby's dissapointing total it doesn't look like it is going to be the large attendance which people were predicting.

I'm about to order a 4th 48 seater coach tomorrow if it is available, there appears to be plenty of demand. Last time I went to Wembley in 2007 it was with 2 others in a car ! Do the maths folks.....I think there is still an enormous amount of interest in this event, I mean when if ever are we likely to get to play at Wembley again ? I know there is no guarantee of a positive result for us and it is 'non-league' but in 10 years time what are you going to talk about, how lovely it was sat watching it in front of the TV. If you can afford it and the cost is an issue for a large family or even a small one, for goodness sake get yourself there, don't regret your decision not to go in hindsight.

TICKETS: The current number of tickets sold after day one of General Sale stands at 21,500!! @official_BRFC This is why if we build the UWE, at some point in time - maybe not every single time - people will turn up. Great shout so far, well done Rovers fans for continuing support..

Unlikely Alfreton would get there, but I'd make every effort..

I said to mates last week, no way will we take 40k this time. Anything above 25k will be a cracking effort.

Ticket sales will now without doubt slow up but hopefully quite a lot may purchase over the weekend. It would be great to get 30000+Rovers fans. Grimsby are fairly confident that a lot will buy over the weekend and they expect a total of 15000+ - add in the neutrals and potentially a 50000 crowd - which would be great for a conference final!!!

Also, the 25,000 that the conference quoted would have included 7000 @ £10 in vouchers. 40,000 isn't going to happen again but I'm ok with that - so long as I'm there and we win then everyone else can do what they like! Isn't it a bit early to be saying that? In my opinion tickets have been selling quite well so far, and there's still over a week to go. O ye, of little faith. Just to clarify, I meant 40,000 gas, not 40,000 total.
