Last Tuesday my dad sadly passed away at the age of 84.He supported The Gas all of his life and first took me to Eastville some 50 years ago.I have so many happy memories being with my dad stood on the Tote End always in the same spot to the left of the goal. Unbeknown to me my daughter phoned the club wanting to do something in her grandads memory. She didn't ask them for anything but immediately they said they would be only to happy to send my dad a signed club shirt to thank him for his support over the years and perhaps it would be something i could keep to remember those times spent with my dad.A big big thank you to all at BRFC it will be most treasured.

Firstly I am very sorry for your loss. The club did the same thing for me when my wife died a week after Wembley in 2007. These things don't get brought up often so it's nice to see some nice publicity !

Really sorry to hear the loss of another Gashead - best wishes to you and your family at this difficult time. Also great to hear about this gesture. There are many things that BRFC does very well, and it's often the lower profile things that don't get the publicity. This is clearly one of them. Well done the club and whoever sorted this out.
