In my mind he should have had a red card for deliberately kicking Puddy. It was'nt a bad tackle it was deliberate, and in the street it would have been classed as an assault

Red card every time. It was a simple decision for the ref which after speaking to the linesman he got badly wrong. Wasn't a difficult decision and it must have been seen hence the yellow card he got. Just a poor poor decision.

It was obviously what the discussed at halftime. Get in our faces, break the game up, either get one of us sent off or at least disrupt our passage of play, then hoof it up to Parkin.

So will the FA act or does the fact the ref gave him a card mean they can't act?

The ref saw it and dealt with it. Done. They could only do something if he admitted he hadn't seen it

It was violent conduct from Clough and should have been red card. Ellis never deserved a yellow for the first incident, but the second was pointless although in his defence he was pumped up and I've felt that for to many seasons we've lacked that passion & aggression. Dreading the referee performance on Sunday, Mr Darren England is a young bloke who is a linesman in the premier league just like John Brooks, according to a mate of mine he had a shocking game at Barnet vs Gateshead last Saturday.

If Clough had scored with that header I would have exploded. Conference players - it's ok to kick goal keepers if you feel frustrated, just don't do it twice. FFS.

I sat in a dark corner in a pub in Bournemouth and felt all kinds of emotions during that , we were by far the better team for most of the game, defended brilliantly, and Harrison looked a threat until he was caught up in a game of kick the goalie. How they still had 11 on the pitch is anyone's guess. What should drive us on now is the belief we are better and stronger as a result of that scrap and will now punish them at home. I liked it as a fight. The whole of the rest of the pub (Brasshouse) was busily cheering on some premiership rubbish, Bournemouth wondering what to look forward to....... Meanwhile, as another hoof heads into the box...... BOOT IT!!!!!

On our own patch we should p1ss this lot off the park, how they are even in the play offs is anyone's guess! One long ball up to Parkin is all they have.
In regards to decisions, the one that got me was Monkhouse cleanly nicking the ball off their full back, then getting obstructed & a flailing arm to the face, then gets a foul given AGAINST him!!?? Clough should have been a straight red all day long, even worse is that he consulted with the linesman, when he himself was looking straight at it!?!
Less said about the ref the better, I'm sure even he will be embarrassed about his performance tonight when he watches at home with mummy & daddy.

There were plenty of bad decisions.on clough I suspect it was another bad decision on the basis the ref & the linesman probably didn't see it but the ref booked him because he thinks he's missed something. That's the conference

Hopefully Clough is available for Sunday!
Not the best or quickest bloke and the partnership with the other centre half will give us a few more opportunities!

If the Barnet v Gateshead ref has watched that game back on TV since Saturday he will know his incompetence has cost us promotion. It should have been 1-1. Hopefully, this will subconsciously cause him to award any 50-50 decisions our way. If he watches tonight's game he will know that FG are a bunch of cheating thugs. Hopefully this will consciously cause him to get the cards out.

In his brief appearances for Rovers, I always thought he was a skinny, ginger, midfielder?
He certainly wasn't a big, slow, fat, oaf of a Centre Half.
He's obviously learnt a thing or 2 from David Pipe and all the other dirty thug b'stards at that hideous little club.

We were very lucky it was not that complete twat brett Huxtable as ref , he would have red carded Puddy for smashing his legs against coughs innocently outstretched leg! Huxtable, who I think had 4 games at the mem this season, including one when he took over in the second half, was 4th official last night. I hope cough scores in his own net on Sunday, then gets sent off

IF the game is going well on Sunday and we're a few goals up, its vital we don't react to their antics and risk getting a sending off and a player(s) missing the final
