She seems nice enough and fair play to her for mentioning us in parliament but I can't vote Tory... I've got disabled friends and what they have done in terms of benefit cuts is nothing short of disgusting. I've got disabled friends and relitaves, they haven't been affected over the last 5 years. What's changed for your friends? Day centres closed, they've had a crap experience on the failing work programme which the govt has spent £5 billion of tax payers money on whilst closing Remploy factories, Bedroom tax and the stress of having DLA replaced with PIP and prospect of more ineffective and punative assessments from the likes of Atos.

I thought Atos have been sacked and replaced by an American company ?? Could be wrong though !

You're right I think Catnip... they were sacked from the ESA contract, largely because they took an age making decisions leaving people in limbo and then something like 50% of the decisions they made that were challenged were over turned at tribunal. Wether it's Atos or an american company doing the PIP ones the fear is that the same will happen and that the govt plan is to save money by taking as much money away from disabled people, especially the ones who lack the ability to challenge decisions, as possible.

Having supported a friend with joint hypermobility syndrome through her stressful and demeaning ATOS assessment a couple of years ago, I know what you're on about. The condition would leave her immobilised for days at times and sort of OK at others but they were determined to declare her as fit for work as someone without a debilitating medical condition. It should be noted btw that Labour have hardly covered themselves in glory on this front either, particularly the last government.

Not trying to be political, but we have talked about the boycott of Sainsbury's and this morning Simmonds/BNS... the support shown by Charlotte Lesley to help with the ground development, does this influence anyone on their vote next week. The parties always meet in the middle anyway, but she has been really high profile for us, including HT pitch the other week, so for that reason I am influenced. Someone who voted for the bedroom tax and the tripling of tuition fees, gets a NO from me.

I'm voting Tory because IMO the Labour party always leave the country in a mess after they have been in power and the Tories less so.

Well that's funny because the Conservative party ain't won a general election for 23 years and now we know the economy is the worst it as been for 2-3 years. Why do I want to vote for a party that protects the top 5% and the middle -class wannabe's.. It's Labour for me ...

The last time the RICH KIDS won a general election was when SAMPDORIA ( Italy) got to a European final. A Tory giving advice about winning is like an Italian domestic football side advising Europe..
It's a joke...

I would rather vote UKIP than Tory and that is a wild stretch of the imagination, out of touch ex etonians who can sleep easy at nigh having robbed from the vulnerable and sick for another term would never ever get a vote in our house. Charlotte seems more in touch with the real world and if she helped deliver a brand new stadium, champions league football, free entry, free beer and half time pole dancers it would still be huge NO! Oh dear, and there was me thinking that the bitter left had evolved beyond 'milk snatcher' rhetoric [ You have met me have you? Bitter left am I? Thanks for letting me know which way I vote, or indeed that I waste time putting in a vote for any of them, any chance of sharing the next lottery number so I can secure a future of physical independence taken away by tory rule?

It's a joke... Bit like a Labour government drawing up economic policy then! In response to OP, if I was a labour supporter it probably wouldnt lead me to vote for her. I have a very good Labour MP but as I support the conservative party I couldn't bring myself to vote for her.

Well the Tories don't want the news to come out that growth is slowing down and the real unemployment figures on close inspection is at standstill.
Ending December 2014 1.86 Million Ending January 2015 1.86 Million Ending February 2015 1.84 Million Estimate March 2015 1.85 Million
Once you take away part time jobs prior to Christmas (hiring in November)data suggest unemployment might go up next month over 4 months. The low pay commission reckons zero hour contracts represent 2 million jobs.
So hardly grounds to preach is it ??
