Thanks to those buying 10 or 20 at a time. Long as they're sorted, eh? I know everyone around me has an ST, but if my dad who is retired offered to queue up and get 10,15,20 tickets while we were working, why wouldn't you That, and the online sales being turned off, just means that if you don't have a retired person able to do that, you're screwed. Bearing in mind that they only announced that they'd go on sale today at about 5pm yesterday.

Should have got the day off or threw a sicky (like me - cough cough), excuse the coughing, I got a sore throat, one of those 24 hour sore throats

I think the Club did well today. Unprecedented demand but in general the queues moved quickly and the early bird got the worm.
ADMIN - How about this forum compiling a list of users who haven't got a ticket in case some come spare?

Both. Nick Day announced straight after the game as the players were walking off and it was on the Rovers site too that evening after the game. EDIT: Here is the link and shows 7.14pm Saturdays date. Under general sale says available 1pm Tuesday by online, over the phone or in the club shops www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/play-off-ticket-information-2423764.aspx

Fair enough. Didn't hear Nick (who hears anything on that awful sound system?). Still, there were always gonna be folk who couldn't get to the ground, so closing online sales doesn't seem a great idea.

Nearly an hour from when I joined the queue to leaving with my tickets but the queue at the stadium sounds awful! i saw both queues but I bet the Mem one was better. Kingswood were faffing around on computers and stuff, whereas Kay at the Mem had piles of them printed out in advance and just went over to the piles and picked what you needed.

I went to the Mem about 2.15 and the que was just to the first pasty hut when I arrived and a bit longer when I came out. What was great was in front of me a little old lady, 70's or 80's and she went in and said "one, for the Blackthorn". Brill. When I bought my 3 tickets the woman behind the counter said "if we don't sell out today, we will tomorrow morning. It has been very busy here" In fact she was recruited from the shop!

I bet that old lady was the one who let off the smoke grenade on Saturday.
