The Lord Mayor in his wisdom has decreed that each Sunday in May the Portway will be closed. This on Sunday afternoon with a 12,000 crowd at Ashton Gate and another 11,500 crowd at the Mem.
This is likely to bring the City of Bristol to a standstill in my view on Sunday.

This is likely to bring the City of Bristol to a standstill in my view on Sunday. It's not. The first time the Portway is closed is at the end of May.

I did make the thread, but after further investigation realised it wasn't entirely accurate and asked the mods to delete it. Portway is NOT shut this Sunday.

He's still a bellend though. In the interests of clarity I think that we should remember that the person responsible for the promised chaos is the Mayor of Bristol (George Ferguson), and not the Lord Mayor of Bristol (Councillor Alastair Watson). If you're saying that George Ferguson is a bellend, then I would agree wholeheartedly. Credit where credit is due, and all that.
