I was coming back from having a meal in The Bishops by the Arches on the 75 bus. When the bus got outside the Vic there were Rovers fans overcrowding the pavement and standing in the road obstructing the bus. There were even a good number of fans standing in the petrol station forecourt getting in the way of cars trying to get back onto the road. Some fans already seemed pissed out of there heads and it was still over 2 hours until kick off. I know it was potentially a big game and we had a chance to be champions but I thought some fans could have conducted themselves better.

Friday night games, I have to go past the Vic on the way back from the Indian takeaway (my traditional pre-match meal). I have to run the gauntlet of all the Gas overflowing out onto the pavement. And I can tell most of them would love a bit of my Bhona, given half the chance.

My Dad and brother were both shaking their heads as well at some of the fans inability to move out of the way when traffic is trying to get through. I am just making a general comment I mean no harm.

When will it end? When incidents cause people to shake their heads some action is needed.

When will it end? When incidents cause people to shake their heads some action is needed. LOL this did make me chuckle but the OP has a valid point. There were a lot of very merry people around and it doesn't take much for high spirits to turn into something else. The atmosphere walking up Gloucester Rd was amazing but it would probably have been quite intimidating for some passers by. TBH though, what else can people expect for a big Saturday game kicking off at tea time?

So let me get this right, people are moaning about people being a little drunk and getting in the way slightly?
Broken Britain, lock them all up.

Yeah, my wife says she always crosses over to the other side of the road, when passing the Vic on a matchday, which is a bit weird coz she's a season ticket holder. But clearly it does look intimidating to a lot of people. Mind you, a lot of people seem to find two football fans minding their own business quite intimidating.

These are the same people who then come on to the Blackthorn 2 minutes before kickoff and push and shove their way through the crown until they get their normal spot. I bet they were bullies at school.
