Can we keep our star/key name players if we fail to go up? Parks and brown have stayed loyal for this season but will they and a few other key players who can obviously cut it at league level stick around for another season in non league?

I think that a lot to do with that is the length of time remaining on the players contract, and his salary of course. If the player has other options, and the club (for whatever reason) decides to listen . . . then the player will most probably leave.
I can see clubs at the same level as us (assuming that we achieve promotion this season that is) being interested in the two mentioned players, but could they make a financial offer that would be attractive to the player?
In any event is there any point in retaining a player that hasn't got his heart in it? I think that last season has the answer to that one.

Could see someone taking a chance on Harrison regardless of whether we go up or not.
I think Browner only signed a one year deal, so if we didn't go up I wouldn't be massively surprised if his head was turned. Players don't seem to want to have being a non-league player on their CV for too long.

I'm surprised that this comment hasn't received a rebuke. No comment or speculation . . . by order.

I can definetely see offers being made for Brown, Harrison and Parkes, probably Lockyer and Taylor as well. Apart from those, I can't see anyone actively trying to leave, most probably Balanta types would be laid off and Mildy retiring, etc., but the core squad should stay unless the wages are an issue.
That said, I do hope we don't have to find out about any of this crap and hit the gas onwards and upwards to L2

you would hope that players would give it 2 years in conf. no more though.
comes down to money as well.
players on good money probably wouldn't be tempted. Players who aren't will be
