Kudos to them,
Might not have sung like that the whole game had it not been the ultimate the fixture of the season, but they impressed me, especially given their situation. Best of luck to them in the north next year!
Of the games I've managed to get to this year they were the best, any other contenders?

Best fans? They were alright before kick off going along to hi ho Bristol rovers & we will rock you. But once the third goal went in, there were some pretty unsavoury scenes going on from what I could see (stood on the east terrace behind the home dugout). Maybe someone who was in that south stand could shed more light on it?
Once it went 4-0, it was goodnight Irene and don't think they could wait to get the hell out of there!

I think they enjoyed the cider and didn't sit down all game, plenty of banter, when the coaches left the mutual respect shown as we stood and clapped them out of the car park with them clapping and waving back was a nice moment, even plod enjoyed it as they drove behind coaches and got booed and screams of sheeeed head rang out, proper fans them.

I was in the south stand, it was good tempered until they started singing about Barnet being 1 up, and generally taking the piss, once the 3rd went in we retaliated and that's when the stewards went in. Half time calmed things down but I thought it could have kicked off at any moment. Second half was fine, tbh they are the only fans all year that have created an atmosphere. Their coaches had an escort down Muller road and the fans clapped as they passed with thumbs up, so fair play to them I say.

Didn't it start going funny when we had a goal disallowed for offside, and they were singing sit down shut up? Then we scored shortly after, and it got a bit tense.

That's pretty much how I saw it, one block away from them in the South Stand. On the whole their chants were quite humorous, particularly given that they were being relegated.

Come on, it must be tough being an away fan when there are 12 of you! I thought Chester fans were extremely enthusiastic when doing the minute's applause for Ben Hiscox. Fair play to them. Bath City fans of course. Shame it was segregated though. No need for that IMO.

Credit should go to every supporter of any club that came to the Mem to support their team this season. It's much easier to be a stay-at-home fan 'supporting' a PL team, so credit to those away fans for coming and supporting their club, especially as it's non-league.
I hate it when I hear our fans criticising the numbers in the away end, they deserve more respect than that.

They clapped our 6th and 7th. Fair play. If they were Manchester United fans, they would have been half way back to Manchester by FT!

Just average Joe's taking an interest in their local team / a team that has some meaning and brotherhood to them.

An amazing evening on the blackthorn, definitely one of the weirdest feelings I've felt at the Gas - winning 7-0 but it meaning little or nothing.
The only sour point for me was the way we treated Alfreton. I see them in no way a challenge to us, on or off the pitch, and with no history between us.
I would hope we would be a bit classier (considering who we think we are, and how we're different) and and show a bit more empathy for a group of fellow football fans who are now facing a version of the pain we all felt last year.
To chant "going down" at them - I was embarrassed, to be honest.

The people who were chanting going down to them were embarrassing, you would have thought after our humiliation of relegation last season our fans would have had a bit more class, especially towards a small part time club!

Most vociferous supporters proportionate to their numbers and credit to the fatties whom went topless..
Reminded me for a minute what it was like to have genuine attention in the away section and think fair play they are having a good day out (not at our expense)..
