Its quite conceivable today's team will be:
Puddy Lockyer Macca Parkes Browner Leadbitter Mansell Lines Monkhouse Taylor Harrison
Either in a 5-3-2 wingbacks or my preference a 4-4-2 with Leadbitter on the wing. So that will be 8 players who started the first game starting the last. Puddy, Lines and Harrison for Mildy, Sinclair and Brunt. Could even be 9 if Mildenhall is recalled.
This isn't a dig at DC but with all the tinkering and experimenting, thinking Wall, Martin, Cunnington, Goldberg etc etc perhaps we weren't too far away in the first place. Esp considering if Sinclair had stayed fit we'd have probably never signed Lines and a fit Brunt would be making a case to get in there too.

I can't see DC playing Leadbitter & Lockyer, it'll be either Gosling or A-B at RW for me, whilst losing Harrison, & Easter, will be a blow surely Blisset & Taylor are good enough to score a goal against Alfreton?
As far as tinkering do any of use really think DC didn't have to bring the likes of Cunnington & Martin into the club?

I feel we have this game in the bag, just need Clarke's buddy Mills to do us a favour now. I think we should play this team (providing Ellis IS fit)
Mildenhall
Leadbitter Parkes McCrystal Brown
Mansel Gosling Lines Monkhouse
Taylor Harrison
I think we should play Mildenhall because Puddy's confidence must be low right now. That mistake V Chester COULD have changed that game and his mistake V Dover DID change the game.
I reckon we'll win 2-0 with Gateshead drawing 1-1 at Barnet.

Don't want to get into a ding dong over this with you but the evidence of the video and consensus of opinion by many, including Dover fans, was that Puddy was fouled at Dover so how can he have made a mistake ?

The decision to try and catch it rather than tip it over was the mistake regardless of the foul. Can't see Lockyer not playing in any formation but right mid is the key position. Not sure what he will do there. He may go 3-5-2 again and that suits Leadbitter

The correct decision would have been to punch it behind. Also you'd expect most keepers to hold that. Anyways, it WAS a mistake which will have damaged his confidence.

For me its got to be a positive line up which means playing one of our wingers (Balanta,Gosling,Baggie) out wide rather than a glorified full back (Leadbitter) Personally would play Blissett up top (not on the right wing as at Dover) and then choose between Taylor and Harrison which for me would be Harrison. I have no real preference over the GK position BUT if DC is thinking of going back to Mildy then must do it today rather than in the PlayOffs.
Mildy/Puddy
Leadbitter Parkes McCrystal Brown
Balanta Mansell Lines Monkhouse
Blissett Harrison
Subs Lockyer Taylor Mildy/Puddy Gosling Baggie

I can't understand why fans are saying drop Puddy after he was clearly fouled at Dover, have they forgotten Mildenhall was shocking for 2 full games V Eastleigh & Halifax when we let in 4 goals? Plus his distribution slows us down going forward.
I hope DC sticks by Puddy today but makes it clear to him it's his last chance.

Just asking....
