Hopefully it wont bother us if we end top of the league but if we do finish 2nd then we the City lot along with the police have created issues!
1st leg 5th vs 2nd is suppose to be on Wednesday and 2nd leg 2nd vs 5th is suppose to be on Sunday. Both 2nd leg play off games were suppose to be on that Sunday.
However City are at home on the Sunday when we would be at home. The police did not want us to play that Sunday. As a result of the police saying no, the Conference and BT Sports moved the date to the Bank Holiday Monday instead which caused issues in itself, but they did it. Again this was IF we end in the play offs.
But City have now planned to do an open top bus parade on that Monday and the police have now said we cant have our game on the Monday now. How stupid is that!

Surely a football match takes priority over a bus parade?! Doesnt look that way. Now it seems the police prefer us to be playing on the Sunday again, the same day as City, instead of moving their parade to the following weekend for example. This means Grimsby's game will be on the Monday but as you can see there is police issues with that too. So no idea about their game. Looks like BT Sports will have to change their scheduale again though, unless they drop a game, meaning fans miss out!

I don't get it - was the bus planning to take to the Gloucester Rd and hang a right in to Filton Avenue??
Probably not, so why is it an issue???
However, I prefer the home leg to be Sunday, so I'll take that

Just cannot see how it could work us playing the same day as City, both of us with sell out crowds, we've never played the same day before. It's a disgrace how the police and football authorities would let a bus tour take priority over a play-off match. The conference have been saying for the last week or so that our game was on the Bank Holiday monday, i'm away on a stag weekend until Monday morning, will be well and truly shafted if it's changed yet again.

When we played Bath at home City were at home then too I believe. Hardly the same though.

To be honest unless they let us play on the Sunday as well I can't see how they can give that mob "priority" for two events, hopefully we won't be in the playoffs anyway .... Regardless shows Avon and Somerset's finest could not organise a p*ss up in brewery.

Utter madness to have 25,000 fans watching sporting games on the same day, but at different times, or even the same time, 3 miles apart, in a city of about half a million. I have no idea how the world will cope. Have we informed the UN, Interpol, NATO, and Russia. Maybe the dalai lama could pray for us all.
