2007/8 - 16th in Division 3 - Luck and Chemistry holding
2008/9 - 11th in Division3 - Luck and Chemistry still holding
2009/10 -11th in Division3 - wtf?
2010/11 - 22nd in Division3 - Luck and Chemistry run out
2011/12 - 13th in Division 4 - Normal service resumed - pulled out of trouble
2012/13 - 14th in Division 4 - pulled out of big trouble
2013/14 - John Ward's fault.
I make that at least 6 seasons that we have flirted with relegation from the football league in the last 13 years, sandwiched between a bizarre 4 year run in Division 3. I think it's pretty conclusive that it's Ward's fault.

In fact we have put together a plan that puts us nowhere near that nasty division for the foreseeable future.

John Wards fault or not, it was always going to be perceived as a cheap shot to blame the one person who was not there to give his side of the argument, Its like sending bad news in a text message rather than talking, the easy option?
I can't think of anybody in life who hasn't made a mistake or bad judgement here or there from politicians to bankers right down the line, the board though seem to have bucked the trend? I was not there last night but if all the correspondence that came out of it is correct and has been taken in the right way it was shocking, a tiny bit of thought and planning beforehand could have worked wonders in mending bridges with the fans, not one bit of it, it seems like two fingers was the reply!
