My daughter was messing with a new app on the I pad. Always thought our commercial flair was zero as they have the coolest nickname in the UK to play with! II'm biased, but I would buy one. She has done quite a few variations.

Just post them straight to Barry's bin, that's where he puts good ideas had by anyone not called Barry. PS. I like both designs.

After a bit of a 'bumpy start' there has been some progress with the retail panel and they have been trialling some new designs and been provided some floor space for display.

I used to be a staunch fan of dropping pirates in favour of the gas. I still feel more of a gashead than a pirate, but recently got some skull n crossbones cufflinks for work. Pirates is a cool nickname, indeed.

Pirates is a cool nickname, indeed. We dont have too many advantages over the 82ers these days, but faced with Robins v The Pirates, we should be levereging all we can with that as a cool brand. Who would you go for as a young fan?

Who would you go for as a young fan? But I like Robins...... I've rarely considered being a 'Pirate' if ever, even though being of a more mature age, even all the years away from Bristol in exile and unable to attend games I always considered myself a 'Gashead', even the men in work who know I support Bristol Rovers always ask how the Gas are doing ? However, from a marketing point of view using the term Pirate on clothing etc could potentially attract a lot more attention

Thankfully Retro Rover and Doug Hillard sports don't think that retro is 'old fashioned'..I saw a few of the early 70s Tote enders at Dover wearing t shirts and hats with the original crest on,now they are doing polo shirts and sweatshirts, proper embroidery not a transfer, good prices too.
