Next Saturday we are effectively playing Alfreton and Barnet so any goals in either game will soon filter through to the other ground. Important we take the advantage and score first, thus adding to the pressure that will be on Barnet. Scoring the first goal could be the defining moment.

My biggest fear is we let one in early, and just as with mansfield the tension grows and the morons get on the players backs after every bad pass or miss and it all gos tits up again. What we need to do is get behind the team for the whole game and who knows, worst that can happen is we are in the play offs which everyone would have taken after braintree away. we can do it.

I hope Barnet are the live TV game as it will ramp up the pressure on them even more. Although most people will be hoping we are the live game with a 11k sell out crowd and Alfreton trying to avoid relegation. If we were live on BTsport next week, and we won the league i don't Bt would ever get a better moment from there conference coverage ever, the atmosphere and game at home to Gateshead was the best they have had all season.

I fear this as well....
The pot bellied shaven headed morons will be out in force, all afternoon drinking , potential flashpoint straight away....heaven forbid the Mighty CSF might make an appearance in the away end... as they claimed last season!!
Forgetting the BS3 knuckle draggers .....The damage these so say Gas heads do to our club is horrendous.... they add no value and drag in others to give the team a hard time . The atmosphere needs to be bouncing, intimidating and positive.
Have moved on from the low of yesterday .... we ALL need to get behind them now.
First of two chances to get promotion.... I still fancy our chances!!

Yes but it will make it more exciting though when we come through at the end and win the title thanks to a last minute Gateshead penalty.

The sh* t were not there last season and won't be this season. Alfreton have only got about 150 tickets for god sake.
Somerset Blue, you seem to have a low opinion of some people. Do you mean the ones who get frustrated when things don't go our way? There was a hell of a lot of frustrated gas yesterday. Which ones were the knuckle draggers?
And who are the mighty CSF ? I've been watching the gas for years, and they don't exist. Apart that is from the 20-30 young kids who pretend they are big and tough, and disappear smartish when people stand up to them like last season at Trashton when they got what they deserved.

Hope Barnet are on BT. Hope we don't score until late, otherwise Barnet will get a kick up the backside if needed Hope Easter is back for play ofs if required, he and Lines should thrive if we can get to Wembley Hope the scars of last season can be healed Hope....at least we still have some!

Wrong on accounts 1 and 3 there tote end. Not that it matters much.

The weather forecast for Saturday currently says thunderstorms. Perhaps if we are losing and Barnet are dropping points, then we can do a Wycombe and make up a story about lightning striking one of the stands?

In fact, can't remember last time we scored first and went on to lose a game? Any pressure piled on Barnet must be good for us.
