All credit to those who write the news articles on the official site. I think we're well served to get 3+ articles every day, which is more than many clubs offer. I'm surprised, though, that nobody picked up on the typo (or predictive word-processing correction) in the article "Preview: Darrell on Dover". www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/preview-darrell-on-dover-2405695.aspxIn setting the scene for tomorrow's match, the writer wanted to describe how the manager and team had been preparing. "Darrell Clarke's men go into this weekend's fixture with Dover knowing that they need to claim all three points to keep their dream of automatic promotion alive and Darrell told us that it has been a 'long week' of peroration". I have a mental image of the players pleading to get out on the training ground to practise set-pieces, and Marcus telling them to listen while Darrell makes another rousing speech: "We shall go on to the end. We shall fight at Dover, we shall fight on the wings and goal lines, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our back line, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight in the channels, we shall fight on the training ground, we shall fight in midfield and at both posts, we shall fight in the box; we shall never surrender".
