I would love to spend a day as a fly on the wall at Rovers. God only knows what the working atmosphere is like there. I agree that this isn't just about one or two mistakes. It's a sloppiness that pervades the club from the top down. 'Santas Grotto' didn't cost us any goals but it was again just an indicator of what a bunch of clueless muppets seem to infest BRFC. The club advertised a while ago for staff for Kirsty,s department why didnt any of you apply,if you are all so perfect you should have walked the interview and got the job.

Before or after relegation and redundancies?

Do you seriously think that's a decent refutation of that criticism? If you had a gas leak, and phoned the gas board about it, and the person on the phone replied that they'd had a load of vacancies for gas workers and if you're such an expert on gas leaks maybe you should have applied and you'd have been able to fix your own gas leak as you're so bloody brilliant and such an expert on gas, I imagine you'd be fine with that.

Bless you Padstow! You do try very hard but it's becomming embarrasing to watch you getting swatted aside by all comers now. BTW, a few years ago, I saw an ad in the BEP for a 'Commercial Manager' at Rovers. Now I would stress that I had very little qualification for this. I am a first line-manager in an entirely different field, with no experience in retail/commerce. So before you cry 'sour grapes' it never occoured to me that I would have any serious chance of getting that job. However, just out of interest, I did what the ad said, sending a letter to the Mem' (can't remember who to) expressing an interest. The ad had specified no CVs, just a letter expressing an interest and my contact details. Now, bearing in mind what is noted time & again by Rovers fans from all different backgrounds and points of view, about the Club's communication, what response do you think I got?

Perhaps if someone just switched on spell checker on MS Word things would improve

With respect Padstow, this isn't an isolated incident. It happens again and again.
Bit like the excuse in Santa's Gronto Gate. What's your problem the kiddies will love it. No it's unprofessional.
The clubs a bloody shambles and all these 'little' mistakes are a symptom of the shambles. They add up. Every aspect of this club should be improved.
Anyway if there was no BoD there would be no club and we were only in the relegation zone for 70 minutes.
The reports from last night are truly depressing.

I've been looking for a local job for ages and looking at Rovers-related websites for even longer and I never saw anything...got a good one now though, so I doubt they could afford to tempt me away...

I'm thinking that like many of our players, if they were elsewhere they would thrive and be completely different people - because they would be in a different environment and have to be. I think a proper investigation might find that the output could be so different.
