Watching MOTD and Sunderland's stadium was near empty by the time they were 3-0 down. Now how often do you get that in the lower leagues?

Their fans don't deserve BPL football. The FA should step in and force them to stay at future games. ?

It would be nice to know how many Sunderland fans were still there at the final whistle, the attendance was 42,073 out of a 49,000 capacity

Sunderland. Well known for their fair weather, fly by night fans. Bet most of them don't even come from Wearside. Only there for the megastore and the glory

Sunderland is the best football town I've been to. The whole town buzzes on match day.
Those fans won't have left early, they'll all be under the stands drinking beer in two-pint glasses.

The old joke of the copper stopping someone claiming over the wall at BS3 and making the stay in the ground
