Did a google search on todays ref as he was one of the worse we've had for a long time. Came up with this worth a watch, the guy is grade a knob. Mr John Brooks

Aren't we supposed to think that Conference refs are the best of up and coming new refs? My word we've seen some atrocious officials this season and he has to have been on e of the worst.

It would be in the best interests of everyone else in the conference if he stayed as a linesman in the premier league, and gave being the man in the middle a miss!!

One of the worst decisions I have ever seen happened today.
The ball gets passed into Blissett around shin/knee height, he's tried to control it and the centre half throws his head to the floor in a bizzarre attempt at a header. Obviously takes some kind of knock to the mush and the ref books NB!!?? He was only only the pitch 30 seconds n all!
Only ever played the game at amatuer level but I thought it was fairly obvious to one & all, if you attempt a diving header one foot from the surface you can fully expect a boot to the cranium!
Shocking refereeing & not the only time today.

If he thinks they should go and see supporters who paid £62, wonder what he would instruct players to do for Higgs when he was pumping £20,000 a week in?

I cannot believe the guy who ref'd today's game is the same one who has officiated at Premiership games.

The Blissett yellow (shockingly) was not the worst decision of the day. Taylor was breaking through on goal and the defender grabs hold of him and wins the ball. Should have been a straight red. What on earth did the ref think happened?

What about the tackle on Ellis at the beginning of the game, the defender went right through him and wasn't even booked !

Shocking - FACT - The assessor gave him 2/10 - FACT. How do you find that out? I've always wanted to have a look at those ratings.

Halifax away, for me was by far the worst refereeing display I have seen this season.
Or ever.

Ref got it wrong twice with Ellis. Never a yellow card for his booking but probably a straight red or at least a second yellow for his kick out and he gives nothing. Think the ref chose to ignore The foul on Taylor when he was through as he would have had to send their player off. Blissett's booking was a total joke.

Chris Lines verrrry lucky to not get a straight red in the first 10mins also.
Over the ball, studs up straight into the guys knee. Proper naughty!

The ref today was a complete joke. The worst i have ever witnessed in a football match. He managed to get most of the easy decisions wrong, gave random corners (admitedly to us) when it was clearly a goal kick. The worst as previously stated was when Taylor was through on goal around 70 minutes in and then centre back had both hands on his shirt pulling him back plain as day. Everybody saw it but the ref. Harrison should of been sent off though so I guess i cant moan too much!
