OH FFS!!!!!!!!!! I don't want our pitch diseased with egg chasing again. The pitch has turned into a carpet since Bristol Rugby left for Trashton.

It is only a couple of games and it will mean money for the club, so why not? So early in the season it should not (fingers crossed)cause to much damage.

Good stuff.
Nice to see a proper rugby team play a few games in Bristol for once.

It will be from early September to the end of October plus pre season.
Based on last years fixtures it was 2 in August ( pre) 2 in September 2 in October.
The BIG question is the euro fixture in mid October . Last year it was Brive ....

Odd there's been no announcement form Rovers? What's happened to our new PR company?
Personally, having seen how good the pitch looks this season, I'd never play a rugby match on the Mem again.

Sounds like just 2 games against Bath & Exeter. Once the world cup is over back to Kingsholm. If all goes well in court could be a good opportunity to show Bath we can operate a good show if they ever want somewhere bigger to play than the Rec

Gloucester Rugby Club are enemies of football and for that reason we should tell them to file their request in the bin.

Can't even see the club making more than a 4 figure fee out of this, not sure it's worth risking the pitch, the beginning of the season is when the pitch is at its best, only needs a downpour which is not uncommon for this country during late summer early autumn, then left with a wrecked surface for the whole season ahead.

Gloucester says it can confirm the fixtures and Rovers have been excellent (or similar) throughout, yet the fans knew nothing.
Dover announced the Rovers game as all ticket way before the club did.

Might play Lansdown's mob at our ground? If that were to happen then it would be an interesting scenario, Bristol RFC (plus their supporters and officials in tow of course) playing an away game at The Memorial Stadium. I presume the usual hospitality would be provided for the visitors for the day, at Gloucester's expense of course.

Seriously though, why are we helping them? They haven't done a single thing to help their neighbours in their hour of need. We should tell them to shove it up their jumper. If they want World Cup matches at their ground then that's fine, if they don't want to play at their own ground that's fine, but when they come cap in hand to a football club when they've shunned one on their doorstep? Screw those guys.
