Totally didn't see the 17th mentioned, staying for the Saturday night. Get down early and go round the pubs in the day!
Me & my old man are in the Dover Restover B & B...we got the last twin room so if any others do choose to stay, good luck with the spooning!

Dover fan here in peace
For those staying in Dover there are some great pubs! I'll give some info to help you out
Cullen's Yard - At the harbour, imported German pilsners and amazing food, harbour view beer garden and shops for the attending wives and suchlike
Priory Hotel (opposite train station) - Live music Friday nights, older crowd, vibe can appear a bit volatile but landlord is ex para I think so he doesn't stand for it. Commercial beers
The Rack of Ale - Small micropub with a great range of ales and ciders
The Lanes - Micropub serving Kentish ales ciders and wines much nicer place to sit than the rack but not as popular
The Cricketers (outside Crabble stadium) - This will be the pre match pub for you guys massive beer garden with pit BBQ and commercial beers, landlord accommodating of away support as long as they behave! If one person causes aggro he will immediately stop serving all of you.... Fair warning
Places to avoid.... Weatherspoons is like the set of Jeremy Kyle The Park Inn - Popular with younger crowd has live music but proper s*** beer! If your gonna get into trouble anywhere in Dover its here...
For those staying in Folkestone, unlucky its a s*** night out, but the spoons is ok as are the harbour pubs! Dont mock or make eye contact with small asian men though as Folkestone has the UKs largest Gurkha population and they won't think twice about ripping you apart.... Scary as f
Enjoy the area and the weekend away

Enjoy the area and the weekend away No that's Reading (ex Squaddie who has served with and has many Gurkha mates). Apart from that thank you.

We found a lovely Gurkha bar in Aldershot. Nobody got ripped apart. And you will find lovely ones here too but just a tip off as a few away fans have come unstuck while drunk taking the Mick... Palace and Eastleigh can both attest to that
