Surely those who go every week have season tickets? If not, it's hardly the club's fault? I couldn't afford a season ticket last summer. I bought a flexi-ten when they became available instead Where's the reward for people who travel away regularly? I'm with you. I went to every game until Christmas and asked if I could buy a half season ticket, they said no, so I ended up buying a ticket for every home game. I don't want praise, or thanks, but the opportunity to be able to but my 10th away ticket of the season. And yes I know a couple of season ticket holders who don't go every week; that is your prerogative if you buy one

I think a lot of Championship clubs do some kind of loyalty card where everything from buying a season ticket, to going to an away match to spending money in the shop to having a s*** in the club toilets gets you a certain amount of points and then Priority Group 1 will be say 10,000 points, Priority Group 2 7500 etc etc. I think the Brian Seymour Smith and the like have been asked about this before but like everything it will be for when we go to UWE. Been trying to find the quote also sure it was BSS who said it.

All seats sold out, on the first day of sales? It'll be a sell out before the weekend! Not sure there were that many seats to start off with, 2 or 3 hundred ? Maybe if we do sell out early, Dover may consider finding a way to release some more tickets, it's all income for them after all. It seems Kiddieminster allowed a few more in as our away attendance was reported as being 2669 but they only issued us 2604 tickets. I was told they allocated a section of their home seats for cash payers between the home and away supporters, at least they were prepared to be a little flexible to those who arrived without tickets, clearly it didn't cause any problems so lets hope Dover can do something similar.

Unfortunately as in all walks of life there are rules which are not perfect to everybody but you have to bide by them. Whichever method was used there would be somebody saying it was not fair. If it was based on attendance at away games there would be those who say why should somebody who has attended say 10 away games get a ticket in preference to somebody who had a season ticket. As with any type of Membership there has to be some benefits for having it and one of the benefits of a) Season Ticket b) Helpline and c) Supporters Club Membership is to get preferance over others in getting away tickets. Of course the real unfairness of that situation are if the Season Ticket holder doesn't want to go and gives over his advantage to somebody who rarely goes but this, unfortunately is life.

My WSE Season Ticket is £300 for 23 games - £13 a game as opposed to £20 on the day. It makes sense if you go regularly. Put in on a Credit Card or borrow off a relative. Then, like me, you have no trouble getting a ticket for any game. Financial and football common sense. I too go away quite a bit, been to 26 of the last 36 games, other than vouchers on the gate at Halifax, Macc and Gateshead I don't know how the club could prioritise away travellers.

Ah they all come out of the woodwork don't they. I left the supporters club because I went to get a ticket for an FA ticket only to find they had all gone within minutes because they were selling them to their mates in 5's and 10's. So tore up my card there and then. The people who go to away games should get the tickets for away games, not someone who is a member of the supporters club and only goes to the one; the last one; the important one. The club has not idea on how to treat their ordinary there every week fan Have been saying this for years. It really isn't good. I am helpliner but have only used it once. the problems start at the top. Old boys club

be good if the club could keep us updated on sales just so that those of us with no priority or even just group 2 priority fans know what chance they have and can therefore decide on transport ect ....
anyone know someone that lives in Dover? get them to pop down to Dover fc and buy a hundred ... could make themselves a few quid!

I'm not sure you can get multiple tickets with the priority groups normally it's one per season ticket etc Must've been one person buying for a whole bunch of season ticket holders then?! This guy handed over 120 sheets!

sorry but new to posting here so messed up post. tried to quote the dude and wonder why he might object to me collecting 8 season tickets from my mates (yes I do have 8) at Kidderminster and volunteering to save them taking time off work to get their tickets for them. 8 tickets at £15 is 120 pounds. No old boys club just friends who go to every gane, home and away being organised and friendly.

I'm not sure he was objecting, just observing.
My mate's mum bought five and I'm fairly sure she's never even been to a game. Still, it saved anyone taking time off work.

In fact I was impressed that someone would go through that kind of effort to help out his fellow dudes, myself and my friends help each other out all the time in this kind of fashion! So very well played sir. Roll on the final 3 games, sunshine, brewskis and 9 Gas championship points!

Will Dover release any more? I know 2,223 is a good allocation - but they only average around 1000? So they should be way short of their 5737 capacity even if they double their average home attendance. Probably heading down the "ask the missus with a cockney accent to phone up and ask for tickets in the home end" routine. I can do a convincing east end accent - but lapse back into Bristolian when talking about football. The only time having an Essex postal address is a benefit when following the Gas!
