This season is surely one of the most tight conference seasons there's been? Normally there's a runaway leader on 100+ points with the next team miles behind on 70-80 points.
I am so glad Barnet won today rather than Grimsby as Barnet have, arguably, the most difficult run-in.
Here's my predictions for each of the top 3's last 4 games:
Rovers: Finish on 93 pts 35 GD 1st
Kidderminster 0-3 Rovers
Rovers 3-1 Southport
Dover 0-1 Rovers
Rovers 3-0 Alfreton
Barnet: Finish on 89 pts 44 GD 2nd
Dartford 0-1 Barnet
Barnet 0-1 Halifax
Kidderminster 0-2 Barnet
Barnet 1-1 Gateshead
Grimsby: Finish on 89 pts 38 GD 3rd
Alfreton 0-2 Grimsby
Grimsby 2-2 Wrexham
Southport 0-2 Grimsby
Grimsby 3-0 Aldershot
Some may see this as a bit optimistic, but it could easily happen. Barnet have, in my opinion, the hardest run-in. We'll see in 3 weeks time! UTG!

Hardly. I only said grimsby would drop points in 1 game. vs Wrexham who won 4-0 today. Barnet have some tough sides who are still in with a shout of the playoffs (Halifax and Gateshead - though Gateshead may be out of it by then)

You can't predict anything when it comes to football especially when it involves such a close battle for the championship like this! Personally I don't see any of the top 3 winning all 4 games so can't really call which one of us will win but I have to say what a enjoyable season it has been and so pleasing to finally see a rovers team performing at the top end of the league even though it is non league. UTG

I can't see how you can predict we will win at Dover but that Barnet will fail to beat either Halifax or Gateshead at home. If we're going to go up I see it going to the wire.

It obviously is non-league, what are you talking about?

IMO we have the toughest game to play out of all three away at Dover but there are going to be a few more twists and turns to come. Grimsby have the easiest run in of the three of us but at the moment it is out of their hands to finish above us in the same way that Barnet is out of both of our hands. It is simply take each game as it comes and then look at the league table and assess the next game then.

I agree Dover is going to be a tough game especially if they are still in with a shout of the play off's. However, if they aren't I can see it being even more difficult as obviously they appear to be playing well and with nothing to play for may feel less tense and less pressure on them to perform and look upon us as a scalp to take so could well up their game, I'm sure they'd liked to spoil it for us. However having said all that, you have to be impressed with our away results (if not necessarily our performances) that continue to see us unbeaten away since the Braintree game (amazing really). In the away games I've been to even when we have gone behind you still have the sense that we have the ability to come back. I'm not predicting anything until we either have too many points for the teams below us to catch us or we finish top at the final whistle of the final game of the season.

The trouble with all of this is we have to rely on Barnet slipping up whatever we do. I am catholic, not a very good catholic I admit. (St Bedes in the late 70's was not the best place for godliness) if anyone thinks praying will help us I will get straight back on it. I pray for the automatic resurrection. I reckon this will go to the wire - I can see all of us dropping points be it due to pressure or the quality of the opposition. Think we might just nick it though but I think it'll be tight at the top come the end with us maybe only winning it by one point. Whatever it is though I hope it's us and Grimsby that go up.

We're the only club out of top three playing other teams that have nothing to play for.
By the time we play Alfreton, their position will almost certainly be sorted out.
I just think that gives us an edge.

Also Akinde has 9 yellows according to the non league paper Now get one v Dartford and miss the vital Halifax game and the potential banana skin (kiddie). Barnet's games are the most difficult, and ours and Grimsby are just about the same, but, we are ahead of Grimsby...

Maybe with a bit of bite. Just the sort of match that might see cards produced. Wouldn't it be salivating to see Dartford pick up points and Akinde to see yellow? And nobody mention Malteser Easter eggs..
