Don't no if he's trending in Bristol or people trending about him in Bristol. Must be giving him a right boner, getting excited about a England c international signing Jesus!

FGR hardly set the Conference alight last season and we seem to be on the verge of signing two of their rejects, it hardly seems promising?

Are people really getting that excited about James Norwood that he's 'trending'? Jeez how far we have fallen... It's a bit embarrassing really to be honest Wes. These players have a job to do and I won't be fawning over them until they have completed that job. Support them yes, get excited over them before they have even kicked a ball. No thanks. I saw a re-tweet from the club earlier from one fan who said that Taylor is exactly what we need. Really? Based on what? How can we even know what he is like before he has even pulled on the shirt for us? We can go on what he did at other clubs sure, but that really is irrelevant now. It's what he and others do for us this season. I wish the lad well, but the excitement from some fans is a bit too much for me. post of the day .. week...month... maybe even the year

Just tweeted a picture of him signing a contract. Twitter seems to think Cheltenham. That's no 'contract' .. Take a look at it!

Child? He sounds a bit of a kn@b to me, fortunately I don't recognise the roundabout on his Twitter pic so, hopefully, it's not us he's signed for, anyway Bristol isn't an hour plus form Stroud?

So he's not coming. I think considering his history of drinking during the season, and our alleged issues with players who like to drink, we can say thank god.

Why do we need another striker when Taffe of Concord and possibly Stokes from the same club are coming for a trial, both are midfielders/strikers

Given what DC has said to date I hardly think he'd even look at this bloke let alone sign him. Good job too I reckon.
As for the others it's impossible to say how well or poorly they'll do with us until we get into the season. I guess it's not always about what they've done before either, but what DC can do with them as a team. Someone made the point about Gerry's team and i reckon that's pretty relevant here. Hardly boner-time right now I grant you, but if we're looking for a change of strategy from the previously failed method of collecting expensive journeymen and funding their hospital bills and retirement funds then i'd say DC is looking alright so far.
At the end of the day you just have to put your faith in the manager. We did it with Buckle, McGhee and Ward and got burnt bigtime. But at least DC is trying a different strategy - we hardly set the world alight with the old strategy did we.
