I wasnt even thinking of him actually. Over the years plenty of folk have got off their arses (as you put it) but can no longer give a toss. So apart from Rod I'm correct? Oh well not a bad success rate. Any particular reason you weren't including Rod? I wasnt excluding him. Just making the general point that quite a few people have made the effort over the years

I'm afraid The Gas was NOT wrong, the open forum AFTER the AGM was open to ANYONE.
If you look at the posting from nittygnome55, he is a first time poster and what he said was total oarlocks and I'll suggest he did not turn up at all and his posting was just to "stir it up"
My original message is correct "The Q & A at around 8.30pm is open to everyone, you do not need to be a shareholder, so that you can ask all those questions you have been dying to raise" It clearly indicates that the meeting is open to anyone after around 8.30pm and again I suggest that this individual DID NOT TURN UP.
If they insist they did, I'll ask Clare if it was true that anyone tried to attend and was refused admittance.

Am looking into this matter and will get back to you.

"Tony, If I have two beans and then I add two more beans what does that make?" In all seriousness the only two questions i want answers to cannot be answered tonight (and that's no fault of the board, the fans or GD). Will Bristol Rovers be a Football League team next season? Will Bristol Rovers be building a new stadium at UWE? Will Bristol Rovers be a Football League team next season? Answer "Who knows?" (Ask that question at the end of April) Will Bristol Rovers be building a new stadium at UWE? Answer - see question 1 (Ask this question late May - however, if the ruling is in our favour you can bet Sainsbury's will appeal it, so the answer will remain "who knows?" I am not in Bristol this week otherwise would have been tempted to turn up for the Q and A. My question would have been more on the lines of "if Sainsbury's are not forced to pay, how will the losses be financed?" I'm semi-hopeful the judge will find in our favour and Sainsbury's will pay up - probably 50/50 but it would be good to know what happens if we lose the case.

Probably best to apologise anyway, she did turn up. More in the know nonsense.

This may or may not be the right time to ask this question but you provided a link to Gaschat and there appear to be a lot of members on this forum who also post there too ? Has there ever been any consideration of merging the two forums between the Mods. I never post on there nor am a member of it but wonder if there may be any potential/willingness to bring that about as there are identical threads and sometimes even identical posts on both forums produced by the same people ? 'Bridgey' NO, NO, NO. I post on both, but the two fora have a different approach and "vibe", both valuable in their own respect. Both get enough posts to be viable and I like the separate identity of the two.

'Bridgey' I understand where you are coming from however as far as I am aware no discussions have taken place ~ happy to be corrected. From my perspective I read both. However I do believe that there is a reasonable sized element from either forum who only post on one or the other. Gaschat seems to attract a younger supporter and has a more active match day element. I think quite a few on here would and do bulk at the "guess the weight of the referee" type posts. However their match day threads attract a lot of posters and attendees at games post feedback. I understand that BSS prefers Gaschat to this forum for his occasional information posts. I also think that some of the younger posters (and no disrespect to them!) don't like the more combative posts of people on here from all sides of the Gas rainbow and would take offence far easier. For me it seems ok at the moment but I don't pretend to speak for other moderators or posters. Regards Cheshire

Anyway, back on topic.
Does anyone actually know (other than the loan issue) what was discussed at the Q&A? Will minutes be produced? Or is the info exclusively for those that bothered to attend?
I didn't attend because (a) I work in Heathrow and its Financial Month End so my busy time and I didn't leave work until gone 7pm, and (b) I probably couldn't be arsed to attend anyway even if I was local. I'd still be interested, as a fan of over 30 years, to know what was discussed in the public forum though.

This thread turned into 'comedy comments' or attacks on others or merging boards, did the Q&A take place? It seems there were a lot of pelters from posters early on about people who moan but do nothing, surely some of those posters must have been there!

Probably best to apologise anyway, she did turn up. More in the know nonsense. I have now been advised that the Q & A are considered to be part of the AGM and on that basis it is only open to Shareholders.
I accept that answer, clearly my assumptions on this specific point, were incorrect and for that I apologise for misleading anyone.
I have also now been advised, who the individuals who turned up were and they are clearly longstanding Gasheads, as you well know.
"More in in the know nonsense" has nothing to do with this thread, to which I could respond but would not dignify causing upset to the people concerned.

Hmm, interesting.
When asked when the next 'Q&A' session was on Twatter, one of our Fans Directors (BSS) said "AGM 1st week March open session after that for all fans Bri" (Tweeted 20 Feb at 10:17am)
He was obviously also mistaken.

The OS has reported on it. Sadly no transcript or list of questions and answers, maybe BRSC may publish this?
