Going by yesterday I would stick with Ledbitter at right back when Sinclair is back in midfield

I'm a believer in playing players in their proper position and Tom ain't a natural right back.

I'm a believer in playing players in their proper position and Tom ain't a natural right back. I don't know - I'd have said he looked more at home at right back than he does at Centre Back. Not sure ultimately he has the build for a Centre Back but I could be wrong. But really isn't he a bit young to have a 'proper position'? Isn't this one of the problems we have in English football that we think players come out of the womb with their position tatooed across their forehead. I'd say the fact he can play a number of positions is a major bonus and it's probably still too early to tell which position will take him the furthest in the game.

I agree, Leadbitter worked really well with Dawson yesterday. If Clarke wants to play Lockyer when we need to tighten up that's fine, but Leadbitter looks the better right back on yesterday's performance.

Going by yesterday I would stick with Ledbitter at right back when Sinclair is back in midfield It occurred to me after reading your post, that when we have all of the squad available for selection then we should really start motoring. But unfortunately events do seem to conspire against us, Jermaine Easter's injury is a prime example of this. But as the games start to thin out now, and the recovery time increases, then hopefully we might see an improvement in availability.

Tough on Lockyer, tough of the causes of Lockyer.

IMO Lockyer's first choice position should be centre half, followed by full back, and lastly Centre Midfield. He has a superb attitude, his fitness levels are excellent and also has been a stranger to the injury table. The fact he is happy to play anywhere and is always a 7/10 player means he is a vital part of the squad. If he stays with us for the next couple of seasons he could have 150 senior appearances on his CV at the age of 21, which well help him climb the football ladder.

Lockyer would be one of my first names on the team sheet! Hasn't put a foot wrong all season long & has been our most consistent performer. Wouldn't ever think he's 21 odd, plays the game like he's been around 5 years plus!

We lost at Barnet - Lockyer missed all but 8 mins of the second half. We lost at Altrincham - Lockyer missed the game through injury We lost at home to FGR - Lockyer missed the game through suspension. 4 league defeats all season, Lockyer missing for 2 & 1/2 of those.
If available I'd pick him!

We've lost 3 games Lockyer's missed DC would be very brave to drop him!
Not really sure Leadbitter did anything special yesterday going forward, it was more Dawson's impact than anything Leadbitter did. Plus Lincoln's only chance came when there no 11 completely lost Leadbitter, and could well have given them the lead.
Even if Sinclair declared himself fit for next weekend why would you drop Lockyer after our best performance for weeks?

It would be brave to leave him out.
