A quick remember that the club never replied to Paine about using his designs on merchandise.

A quick remember that the club never replied to Paine about using his designs on merchandise. But one of Paine's designs was used on the back of the last programme. Note for the merchandise committee: For what it is worth, I have seen Paine's art work reproduced on T-shirts and mugs at Premier league clubs and they look really good.

Paine's designs are good enough for Chelsea (happened to get a free invite to Stamford Bridge for the Chelsea vs Spurs match and they were advertised in the programme) but somehow not good enough for Rovers...
Laughable.
The Tote end one that was on the back of the Torquay programme should be on a mug/T-Shirt or something. It'll sell pot loads.
Paine is very keen to work with Rovers (he genuinely likes the history of the club)
Oh Cmon...

Paine was contacted by Club..Keith Brookman to ask if ok to use in Rovers matchday programme. Paine said he is very busy on commissions and has not time to do anymore rovers images at the moment

Is the retail consultative committee still meeting? If so could these two things be taken forward: 1. The use of Paine Proffit's Rovers images on a. mugs b. T-shirts (Villa and West Ham sell a lot of these) 2. A new limited edition of prints of the Eastville painting (forgive me I don't know the original artist)

Have you tried there?

They were by Ian Cryer, I have one of a limited run of 850
