I certainly agree. Washed up ex-footballers are exactly what this club needs to take it forward.

33 is not old for a footballer these days, he's still younger than Scott McGleish was when he joined us. The issue is not his age its how good he is, if his contract's been paid up he will probably get a lot of interest from League Clubs.

The issue is not his age its how good he is, if his contract's been paid up he will probably get a lot of interest from League Clubs. Either that or he's about to announce his retirement through ongoing injury issues. I think 33 is pretty old for someone who played the way Johnson did to be honest but the point is correct - chances of signing for Rovers = pretty much 0.
