With 50+ points still to play for, I think the top 5 are all still in with a shout of finishing 1st. If we can win more games than Barnet in our remaining matches, I think we will finish above them. This is a massive January transfer window and getting players in who will improve our starting 11 is a must. We need a couple of Della Verde's and not Walls.

Not if we play like we did today

I say it during every transfer window, box 1 will show how much ambition they have by how much cash they give the manager. I think we are very short of depth in midfield, we obviously need a quality right footed winger, and IMO the jury is still out on whether we need a striker, i'd still like Goldberg to stick around until the end of the season. January and February are the 2 months we have to make up ground on Barnet. Once we get to March & April there just won't be enough games to close any big points gap. Top spot would be an amazing bonus, but i'd be a lot happier securing a play-off spot.

Have to learn from last season when failure to re-inforce with suitable quality contributed to losing our league status.

Everything is to play for.
There will be comings and goings in every club, and alot of football to be played.
We do have a chance. Our team spirit and notion of never knowing when we are beat is prevailing. We are second, with the best chance of all teams to make a serious, credible assault and challenge for the title.
Not to be complacent, there's a long way to go.

Luton hit top spot 12 months ago and then continued to improve the side in January. I hope the board recognise that this is the way to go rather than hope for the best with what we have (which is close to promotion standard, but not a sure thing)

Based on recent performances we have found that we seriously lack quality depth in the wing positions and then we resort to playing Clarke in central midfield at the expense of Sinclair which tells me we still need a quality central midfielder and someone else who can score goals. With Brunt injured and Wall gone back I also feel we need another Targetman. I very much hope that once this sundays game is over that with the rush of fixtures out of the way Clarke will play his best team every week and if we win stick with the same team rather than tinker every week. I almost think sometimes that he thinks he needs to prove a point by constantly changing.

I didn't,and still don't understand why he changed a winning side, Sinclair must play centre midfield and we need another DLV type player.

Five games in 2 weeks could have something to do with it. Yesterday was one game too many.

as usual we dont win again and people are straight on to DC , quite possibly he got the selection wrong and the changes too late yesterday but in previuos games his changes have won us games , we dont see the training /the after effects of matches so close together whereas the Manager and his staff do , we have to trust DC, he's better thhan most expected and 99% of us would have snapped up the offer of 2nd place on the 2nd Jan especiallly after the 1st 3-5 games of this season. The title is very much up for grabs IMO , Barnet have not had even a slightly dodgy spell, they will.... all clubs have a 3/4/5 game spell in a season we have to make that count when they do. we need a couple of creative players midfielders/wingers and id still like another striker as i would send goldberg back. over the xmas period we have taken 10 points from 12 in difficult games Torquay whilst not the greatest are no mugs, Macclesfield were high flying and so were Gateshead. despite the dodgy start and the lack of goals we have lost 4 league games out of 29! we are hard to beat and will be right on Barnets tails and push them all the way ! The transfer window could be huge who knows who we and the other teams could sign or possibly more important is who each club could lose, players like Sinclair for us , Akinde for Barnet are bound to attract the attention of other sides

I think he made changes yesterday because of injuries and knocks. Brown; Balanta out, Gosling had a knock and now Trotman is out
