I've noticed that the thread on UWE/Sainsburys has begun to stall on only 22 pages, while there seems to be a plethora of threads about mere games of football.
A new stadium, and the ownership issue surrounding it, is likely to be the making or breaking of this football club. The result of a single game is irrelevant if Rovers are out of business in a year's time, so why the obsession with whether Matty Taylor has both left and right feet or the more unconventional double-left, or if a large man with a dodgy leg puts a round thing between two bits of wood in his tour of anonymous League Two football clubs?
Stupid forum.

I vote we go back to a small clique of executive box dwellers making nudge nudge wink wink posts to each other about company structures while sneering at people who want to have a good time on a Saturday afternoon

That sounds fun, lets do that You get the point I'm trying to make though, (I'm not aiming this at you personally) a forum doesn't have to concentrate on just one topic, there's room to discuss the future as well as the footballing side. If you aren't interested in speculating about the club's future, the threads to avoid are usually pretty clearly labelled. I'm also a bit fed up of being accused of not being interested in football. Its possible to want to discuss more than one aspect of the football club, and many people do contribute to both types of thread. May I ask those that have complained recently about certain topics - who do you think you are, telling people what they should or should not discuss, as long as its Bristol Rovers related? I realise there's a certain irony here...

Stupid forum. it could be that some people of reduced intelligence have infiltrated the forum? one possible solution is to bring in a rule making sure you have to use big words as this will help us to eradicate he numpty football people and allow us all to carry on guessing what rovers/sainsbury are up too. everyone knows that if you use big words you must be intelligent
