The season certainly appears to be coming together, and at the right time too. There's lots of pluses about at the moment. Onwards and upwards.

Anyone know if loans to Conference clubs made during the emergency windows are restricted to 93 days like in the league? If so it would take his loan to early February.

In January you can arrange long term loans instead of just "emergency" loans. So, providing we don't have too many in the squad, we could loan him until the end of the season.
Or of course, put in an offer...

Given we play four games in a row against promotion chasing teams over Christmas this is fantastic news. If I was Fulham I'd be trying to fix him up at League One level instead of ours.

Once his loan finishes on the 4th January, i would imagine there manager will have back training with the first team for a few weeks to take a look at him and then probably move him onto a top 7 league 2 club or someone like Oldham or Yeovil like a loan deal. Hopefully our DoF might get the cheque book out and table a cheeky bid like we did with Tom Parkes. With Martin, Wall, Della Verde & Goldberg loans expiring in January, i can see the next few months of transfer activity being very important.

Presumably he's out till the middle of Jan, now.

Why when we get decent loan players do they get injured within three games??? Why!!!! ?!!!!! !!! It also happens the week after we give a player a 3 year contract! Let's hope Balanta gets full fitness back soon and Martin returns to his earlier season form.

Judging by the picture posted on Twitter it could be months. Let's hope not but that ankle is well past full articulation point. Most important thing is the lad is okay, talent well beyond us and deserves a chance to shine many leagues above us.
