Maybe it's because I have moved and I can no longer get 40mb Virgin, Maybe it's because I am with dial up BT, but EVERYTIME I go to watch any videos on You Tube I get an error message, and yes I have updated Java, and Flash.
Anyone have the same problem?

Anyone have the same problem? You may need to update your Adobe drivers as well.

Used to have problems all the time with BT, since me moved to Virgin not a single problem with our 90m/b. Virgin has the fastest & best broadband by far.

Me personally can't speak high enough of it.

Me personally can't speak high enough of it. I completely agree - been with VirginMedia for 12 years now at varying speeds and I always (with one exception) get the advertised speed I am meant to be on. Although that does tend to be influenced by how close to the exchange you are. There was one exception, where I had a period of about 4-6 weeks where I kept losing packets and dropping off whilst playing on online game, traceroutes were just showing horrible response times on my way out to the Bristol hub with packets loss. The VirginMedia customer service was excellent and had the problem diagnosed as being high contention with the area and tried various things to resolve it for me, eventually they told me I had to wait for an upgrade to the line which was planned at some point in the future, I complained. Whilst I was waiting for that I contacted BT and asked for them to tell me if they could give me a connection with the same level of service as I got (or used to get) with VirginMedia (around 30MB download with 3MB upload) and I was told that they could go up to that level for my area but wouldn't guarantee it. When I pushed it I had an engineer come a few days later who ran a test and he told me to stick with VirginMedia as BT wouldn't be able to get close and would be more expensive (around 12MB download and just under 1MB upload). In the mean time VirginMedia had escalated my complaint and my connection was specifically re-routed through a completely different non-congested route (via a Gloucester Hub, rather than a Bristol one apparently) and kerching I was back to an alll singing all dancing service.
