Hello all,
Your visit to Eastleigh tomorrow is being keenly anticipated on our part.
A preview of the game, as well as a bit about Eastleigh's defeat at Wrexham on Saturday, can be read at www.mcnamara-sport.tumblr.com
If any of you venture into our club shop, my recently published book "The More we Win the Better It will be" - A Year with Eastleigh Football Club, will be available to purchase. The book isn't totally Eastleigh centric, and will - I hope - appeal to football fans of all denominations.
More details about the book can be found in the 'book shop' section at www.troubador.co.uk
Have a safe journey, and looking forward to seeing a great away following at the Silverlake.

Will paulmc be signing copies in the club shop prior to kick-off I wonder? There's nothing like the entrepreneurial spirit, is there?

Hi paulmc, Any news on the car-parking situation? On our website it mentions 500 free spaces at the ground, so I imagine anyone driving will have to get there early to nab one. I've been trying to keep an eye on your forum and people have said that sometimes over-flow car-parks are made available, but I've yet to see confirmation: tssc-eastleighfc.proboards.com/thread/1380/bristol-rovers-fan-peace?page=2I've been looking on google maps/earth and all routes that approach the ground appear to be narrow country lanes, with no room for street parking. On the plus side, the countryside looks a nice place to explore for any early arrivals: St. Nicholas Church (with its famous one-hand clock!) and Shubbery Pond and Park Pond behind. Shame The Concorde is members only, as that would have been appropriate for North Bristol folk! I hear The Cricketers pub is a short distance away. Oh, and the approach from the M27 sounds strange; you can't turn left onto Stoneham Lane and have to go half a mile up the road, then go right round the next roundabout, back down the road you've come up, then turn off right!

This may help you.... Parking Information There are approximately 500 free parking spaces available at the Silverlake Stadium. The club is expecting the car park to be busier than usual and as a result has acquired further car parking for this fixture. Wellington College directly opposite the ground entrance will be open for additional parking. In addition to this lower hardmoor which can be found approximately 100 yards from the clubs main entrance will also be available. This will add around an additional 400 spaces. Stewards will be available to advise you and guide you to the parking locations. If you require any further information please call the club on 02380 613 361 www.eastleighfc.com/2014/09/29/breaking-news-important-ticket-and-parking-information-for-bristol-rovers/
