The AGM is this Thursday at 7.30.
Looking at the agenda in the Supporters Club News it looks pretty much routine constitutional business, including the election of one SC's director; is there not going to be a Q&A at the end of the meeting?

Are this year's accounts released yet. Would be interesting to see if the loss was as great as last year or maybe in the black?

Yes thanks. Still in deficit, but income up and outgoings down, so going in the right direction.

I think it means that the £22k profit is before salaries and employer's NI contributions, so the branch has made a loss of £15k?

Best thing they can do is get that run down old property sold ASAP. I'm guessing that in previous years the figures would have been lumped in together, so the profit from PL would have masked the fact that 199 has been costing money to keep open?

I think it means that the £22k profit is before salaries and employer's NI contributions, so the branch has made a loss of £15k? Correct. Incorrect. I thought the operation at 199 was more than just selling merchandise. You have not included travel, membership (both showing a healthy increase on the previous year) and the Goldbond lottery. You have obviously forgotten to include these things. Now do your sums again. These are hard times. Making an increase in sales profit in a relegation season to the non-league over the previous year is a minor miracle. Heaven knows what could happen if we have a winning team bouncing around the top of the table!

Good god don't give it to the club as a lump sum!!!!
Look what happens to money at Rovers - it burns. Keep it as a contingency fund in case the s**t hits the fan and we're staring admin in the face.
If BRSC is for the future of the club rather than the benefit of the board, that money shouldn't be just handed over to cover a few months' running costs.

Heaven knows what could happen if we have a winning team bouncing around the top of the table! The figures come from published SC accounts, so why the barbed comments? I guess the equation for the SC to wrestle with would be to decide if the convenience to customers of supplying services that could be delivered at PL or online is worth carrying a loss of circa £15k per annum?

But all of that could be done at the Mem, making the shop a loss making venture! it is simple really get rid asap (from a business point of view, mind you all my staff paid for their accommodation).

I think NR has a point, but is being as obtuse as usual. Not sure why they cant back themselves up with facts The overall loss for BRSC with all income and expenditure is 8.8k compared to 22k loss last year
