You answer your own question, everybody knows the consequences, so don't get involved, quite simple really. Unless of course you are Erika Roe, in which case please invade the pitch every Saturday Not now please, she is older than me!!!!! Haha, maybe not now at her age then but sure brings back some memories though eh' Oldie?

Sorry but I don't agree, I think that the sentences being handing out are far too harsh, paedophiles are treated with less disdain in my opinion. Would you like to offer any evidence for that? We're all going into great detail here about which hooligan did what and why it's supposedly been wrongly reported and punished but no one is actually substantiating this throw away comment. Which paedophiles are treated with less disdain by the justice system and society?

Adam Smith - light touch, free market economics: That'll keep the football hooligans under control.

Just playing devils advocate here. Aren't we a war like nation who have been fighting various battles for thousands of years? Isn't it in our DNA ( the warrior gene)? Without it we may not be here. Each of us probably has it to varying degrees. You can only play the hand of cards your dealt. Many find an outlet I guess, such as boxing, rugby, fight club, armed forces etc, where controlled aggression is a prerequisite . Some probably don't find this outlet, and the rage manifests itself in the wrong arena's. Back in the day I am pretty sure we used to employ a bunch of dockers to steward the stadium. $5 bucks in the ass pocket, orange jacket and carte Blanche to administer dubious crowd control techniques. They used to fight amongst themselves to get the away end gig. This was their outlet. I served in the Legion, and going into battle you definitely want the horse puncher on your side. Some of those old farts took their skittles way too seriously. Fkin carnage man. Please keep off the pitch...........or I'll knock your nashers out.

Dean. On the economy, I'll go the opposite of whatever you say But I'm not allowed to as we don't have a section for that, so I won't mention how well Gideon is doing. I'm appalled by Lazza's picture, utter disgrace, not fit for a family forum, she's smoking in a public place! When asked later why she streaked, Erika said, ''I got my inspiration from Alcohol''

Sorry but I don't agree, I think that the sentences being handing out are far too harsh, paedophiles are treated with less disdain in my opinion. Who cares if these idiots feel the full force of the law? It's not difficult, don't break the law and you won't get in trouble. And from what I saw, untill morons decided to confront the people in the away section, those who just went under Box 1 to demonstrate their disguist at what Higgs, Jelf, King, Bradshaw, Ware and Dunford have done to our club were left to get on with it. Sentences for other offences may well be too leniant, but that's a different subject alltogether. What happened to the City fans in the Mansfield section? I thought their actions constituted incitment, so how many were arrested and what sentences did they receive, anyone know? completely agree there was a big difference between those who let emotions get better of themselves and ran to protest at box 1, and those who kicked and punched stewards players and police. Both deserve punishment of some description if after initial emotion they did not comply with stewards requests, as rules literally could not be clearer, but latter group deserve full weight of the law thrown at them. Anyone who thinks an assault on stewards or Police is in anyway justified, or police being firm or even possibly a little too firm with benefit of hindsight are just wrong. I didn't see Police go over and above what anyone of us would do if it was our family being attacked, and even if they did, that is just another crime to add to the assailants crime, it does not in anyway mitigate the first crime at all. It's no coincidence I have not seen any of those who ran towards Mansfield fans at games before that, nor do I suspect they'd be rocking up to a home game vs Nuneaton anytime soon.

Bit obtuse, but from where we sit, we could see spittle coming out of grown men's snarling faces, some faces that I've not seen in 43 years travelling home and away. If I can spit, I can see facial features

Very much doubt that don't you my fine and funky friend ?

If I can spit, I can see facial features Well I recognised one of them from the original EP pictures straightaway and he’s been going for at least 25 years that I can remember, and whilst not someone I know well I was having a chat with him after the Torquay capitulation. But hey Manc opinions have always counted more than facts on this forum.

Just because they encroached onto the pitch or played up in the car park doesn't necessarily mean they aren't die hard fans quite the opposite to be perfectly honest, whether rightly or wrongly .
